A raffle held by a charity which grants wishes to seriously ill young people has raised £360 at a Christmas market.

Chigwell-based charity The Dream Factory held the event at the Epping Christmas market on December 6 but the figure has only now been made public.

Founder Avril Mills, whose son Oliver died from leukaemia at the age of 9, said: "The money raised will help us grant even more dreams to children and young adults with life-limiting conditions."

Since the charity was launched five years ago, 250 dreams have been granted, including trips to Disneyland and meetings with celebrities.
