Police attack accused set for court

A man accused of assaulting two police officers is set to appear in court.

Alexandros Modestou, of Old House Lane in Roydon, is said to have attacked the officers in Harlow on October 8.

The 39-year-old also faces a charge of using threatening words and or behaviour in Arnold Road, Waltham Abbey the previous day. 

Modestou is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.
