The sentencing of a rapist who attacked a woman after she became separated from her boyfriend on a night out has been postponed for the second time.

Michael Wilson, 32, of Grange Road in Plaistow, was due to be sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court today, but a probation report was not completed.

Wilson was found by police half naked in a car with the victim in Leytonstone.

Earlier the victim, in her 20s, and her boyfriend had been at a Shoreditch nightclub when they became separated.

Police had pulled over the car after it was spotted driving erratically.

Ahmed Quras, of Shrewsbury Road in East Ham, was also found in the car but was found not guilty of aiding and abetting a rape.

On November 13, Wilson was found guilty of rape at Snaresbrook Crown Court, and back in July, Wilson pleaded guilty to possession of class A Diamorphine, and class B Cannabis.

Wilson was due to be sentenced of all three counts at Snaresbrook Crown Court on December 5, but was postponed until today.

He is now due to be sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court on January 7 2014.
