A woman was left with a broken nose after she and her boyfriend were attacked by a man and woman on a Tube train.

The 25-year-old, from Ilford, was travelling on a Circle line train at around midnight on December 6 when her boyfriend was headbutted by a man during an altercation and she was assaulted by his female companion.

The two men ended up leaving the train at Temple, where they grappled on the platform.
The female victim suffered a broken nose, a sprained wrist and cuts and bruises.

Police have released two images of those suspected of carrying out the attacks.

Detective Consatable Dan Holmes said: “This was a violent assault that left the female victim requiring hospital treatment. If you recognise the people pictured, or have key information which you think could assist officers, I’d urge you to come forward.”
