Market traders have been offered a break from paying licence renewal fees.
Epping Forest District Council council has agreed to scrap the £355 annual fee next year in order to help struggling businesses.
Stall holders are required to pay the fee in order to gain consent for street trading across the district.
The traders will still be liable to pay fees to the town council for their pitches.
