Two Essex fire crews attended the incident
A woman is in hospital having been cut from her car.
Emergency services were called to the crash at the junction of Colson Road and Ladyfields in Debden, involving a Black Ford Focus and a Grey Alpha Romeo at 4.40pm on Thursday.
The 48-year-old driver of the Ford Focus was cut from her car by fire crews shortly before 6pm and taken to hospital with neck and back injuries.
