A man caught brandishing a metal police in public has been ordered to attend an anger management course.
Ashley David, 21, of Boxted Close in Buckhurst Hill, admitted carrying an offensive weapon and obstructing a police officer in Temple Mead, Roydon on November 18.
He was sentenced to an 18-month Community Supervision Order and told to pay £100 in compensation, along with a £60 as a victim surcharge.
David is required to attend anger therapy sessions and undertake 80 hours unpaid work.
