Police have released CCTV images in the search for three men following an attack on a man.
Police were called on Sunday at around 11.25pm to Longbridge Road, Ilford, close to the junction with Cecil Avenue, following reports of an assault.
A 47-year-old man was taken to an east London hospital and remains in a critical condition.
He had been eating at a restaurant with his family and friends, but when they left they were approached by three men who made a comment before one of them punched the victim in the head.
The victim fell to the ground and the three men ran off towards Barking Town Centre.
No arrests have been made.
