A flood alert remains in place for the river Roding as water levels continue to rise steadily and are due to peak at midday.
A total of 15mm of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours, however the rest of the day is expected to remain dry with only isolated showers due this afternoon.
The warning continues to extend to the Lower River Roding area including South Woodford, Woodford Green, Wanstead, Ilford, East Ham and Barking.
Properties are not likely to be affected.
