Engines roared across London yesterday as 25 scooter fanatics rode out for a children’s hospice.

The Forresters Scooter Club held its annual Christmas trip for Haven House Hospice, raising £170 for youngsters with life-limiting illnesses.

Organiser George Jay, 47, said that the event is very popular.

He said: “We do it every year. It’s such a good cause.

“We went to Camden Town and had a ride around North London, then we came back to the County Arms Pub.”

The club raises cash for different charities through rides every year but always dedicates money raised from the Christmas event to Haven House.
