A man was stabbed in the street last night.

Police and ambulance services were called to Chingford Road at around 9:30pm following reports of a stabbing.

A man in his 30s was found with stab wounds and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

No arrests have been made.

The road was closed both ways after 10pm between Brettenham Road and the Crooked Billet Roundabout in Walthamstow, and several bus routes were diverted.

Lets hope the CCTV camera at the corner of Brookscroft Rd picks it up this time as all it seems to do is catch drivers in the bus lane and obscure drivers view whilst pulling out of Brookscroft Rd.
The camera failed to catch the murder that happened there a number of years back and has turned the junction into an accident black spot.
