Woman remanded in custody after man's murder

A woman has been remanded in custody after being charged with the murder of a man in Chadwell Heath.

Annie Merrilees, 24, of Dunwich Court in Glandford Way, Chadwell Heath, was charged on December 17 with the murder of 31-year-old Dean Williamson.

Mr Williamson was found with a stab wound at Miss Merrilees’s address on December 17.

He was treated at the scene but later pronounced dead at an east London hospital. 

She appeared at the Old Bailey on Christmas Eve and was remanded in custody until January 7 for a bail application.

She is due to appear again on March 11 for a plea case management hearing.
