A distressed dog lover is appealing for help in finding her one-year-old pet.
Hayley Wootton from Enfield Island Village was walking her patterdale terrier Max in Gunpowder Park,
Waltham Abbey, on December 22 when he dived into a bush and never returned.
Fire crews searched for the dog with heat sensor machines but to no avail.
Since the dog went missing he has been reportedly spotted in Deny Avenue, Waltham Abbey on a number of occasions.
Mrs Wootton’s other dog Meryl was also on the walk but returned when her owner called. Since Max went missing Meryl has not been eating and is very distressed.
A reward is being offered for information which may lead to the return of Max.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Mrs Wootton on 07725822743 at any time of the day or night.
