Residents of the Epping Forest have been recognised in the New Year’s Honours List.
Michael John Bonehill, from Theydon Bois and consultant with Edwards Duthie Solicitors, was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for charitable services, particularly to the National Youth Theatre.
Ilid Davies, from Loughton and head of public protection at the London Probation Trust, was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to Public Protection and the Rehabilitation of Residents of Approved Premises.
