East London and West Essex Guardian Series: Police want to speak to these two men Police want to speak to these two men

Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to after a teenager was mugged.

The 17-year-old, from Ilford, was approached by two men at Romford railway station at around 7.20pm.

The men grabbed the teenager by the neck before punching him in the face and fleeing with his iPod.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Jon Howlett said: "This must have been an intimidating experience for the victim, who was alone at the time.

"The images are clear and I’d ask for anyone who witnessed the incident, or recognises the two men, to come forward.”

The incident happened on November 25 but the images have only now been released.
