A group of four vounteers at Saracens rugby club are featuring in a series of television adverts.

The quartet were selected after producers saw an interview with the group following a match in December.

IT consultant Carl Brewster, 53, of Leytonstone, Sarah Hinds, 50, Richard Bailey, 48, and Judith Schecter are among 200 supporters, known as Pioneers, who help out at the club on matchdays.

The advert, which includes interviews with the volunteers, was shot at Saracens' stadium Allianz Park in Hendon and will feature in every advertising break during the Premiership highlights programme.

Speaking about his role as volunteer, Mr Brewster said: "I think it’s a marker for other sports.

"From the feedback we have received within rugby, I think it could transcend into quite a few different sports.

“It’s a sport that embraces the community. Everyone can get involved in so many different levels.”

Aviva's Senior Sponsorship Manager Louisa Cheetham said: “What we’re trying to do is really get to the heart of what matters to rugby fans from the 12 Aviva Premiership clubs."
