Money raised by a school's parent teacher asssociation (PTA) was stolen from a car.
Aboout £300 and a smart phone were taken from the vehicle in the car park of the Nazeing Glass store in Nazeing New Road at around 4.15pm on November 22, but police have only now made a public appeal for information.
A woman from Hertfordshire parked her Chrysler Voyager and went into the shop.
A blue Chrysler PT Cruiser then parked alongside the car and a man and woman got out.
The man then smashed a side window while a woman kept watch.
The man grabbed several bags, one of which contained cash raised at a PTA event, and a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone.
Police have reviewed CCTV footage but the view was obscured by a parked van.
The man appeared to be in his early 30s and was wearing a striped top.
The woman is described as having blonde hair tied in a ponytail.
