Police confirm the evacuation is over and the area has been cleared

Walthamstow bus station and the surrounding area has been re-opened after a suspect package was found.

The area, including Walthamstow Central station, Selbourne Road and a section of Hoe Street was cordoned off when the discovery was made at the bus station at 9.30am.

Police have confirmed that the operation is now over and services are back to normal.

I do hope that Councillor Clyde Loafs will arrest whoever left this Mysterious Package on our doorstep under his designated Environment Crime mandate. It was a major inconvenience to all those who wished to go to Poundland before spending their change at one of the Area's many fine Betting Establishments.
