A woman trapped in her vehicle after colliding with a wall and lamp post has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
The 49-year-old was cut free of her black Vauxhall Corsa by firefighters following the collision at Alderton Hill in Loughton at 7:30pm yesterday.
An ambulance crew arrived at the scene one hour before the fire services and police arrived.
