Volunteers wanted for tree-planting day at local orchard

A tree-planting day is taking place this weekend to restore an ailing orchard.

Residents are being asked to help plant 12 apple trees at Claybury Orchard in Claybury Park, Woodford Bridge, on Saturday as part of a project run by the Redbridge Council and the London Orchard Project.

People of all ages are welcome between 11.00am and 3.00pm and children will be provided with apple-based activities.
