Plans for a controversial “WAG-style” development will be discussed at a meeting tonight.
Elliot Pomerance hopes to turn stables in Grove Lane, Chigwell, into six two-storey homes, but there is strong opposition from people living nearby.
The proposal will be considered by Chigwell Parish Council, which has received 17 objections, tonight.
The Grove Lane Residents’ Group claim the plans are too modern and out of keeping with the country lane.
Epping Forest District Council will have the final say on whether the development goes ahead.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm at the parish council’s Hainault Road offices.
A proposal to develop the site in 2003 was blocked following opposition.
