West Ham defender James Tomkins has denied assaulting a police officer.
The 24-year-old also today pleaded not guilty to being drunk and disorderly in public and obstructing a police officer outside the Sugar Hut nightclub in Brentwood on December 21.
Tomkins was released on unconditional bail until his trial at Basildon Magistrates' Court on April 17.
