The M11 has reopened
The M11 has now reopened in both directions after a multi-vehicle crash caused severe delays and left one woman with serious head injuries this morning.
Emergency services were called to the incident at around 7.10am between junction 5, Chigwell Lane, and junction 4, North Circular Road.
The woman, who was unconscious and believed to be in her 30s, was taken to Queen's Hopsital in Romford at around 8.20am, after fire crews cut her out of her car.
No other injuries were reported.
Delays are now easing as traffic begins to return to normal.
