A man accused of a year-long campaign of harassment against two women in Epping is due to stand trial today.
Daniel Ryan, 22, of Regent Street in Colchester, is alleged to have sent an image of his genitals to one of the women, as well as other messages of a sexual nature on Facebook and dating site Plentyoffish.
He is also said to have followed one of the women and repeatedly called and texted her.
Mr Ryan is alleged to have sent one of the women the message “If you get the police involved you will be sorry”.
In a message to the other woman, he is also accused of writing: “F*** sake 13 hours in a cell please drop the charges. I’ll do anything.”
Mr Ryan is also said to have driven past one of the women, causing her to hide.
He denies all the charges.
