A driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after she crashed into a parked car.
The incident happened after 8pm last night on The Avenue in Chingford.
The driver of a black Mercedes M Class AMG was driving from Highams Park towards Chingford.
It is understood as she drove over the hill on The Avenue, the vehicle crossed lanes and hit a parked silver Audi A3.
On impact, the Mercedes vehicle pushed the parked car 'up to 30ft' along the pavement, smashing into a lamppost and knocking down a neighbour's fence.
There are no reports of any injuries.
The 38 year-old owner of the Audi had been by her vehicle with her 11-year-old son less than 10 minutes before the crash.
She said: "I had just returned home from taking my boys to karate. I walked indoors and realised my wing mirror was left out so I returned to the car to push it in.
"I stepped indoors and a few minutes later we heard this massive crash."
CCTV at the residential property shows the moment the Mercedes is driven over the hill and crashes into the parked vehicle.
It is understood the driver of the Mercedes was breathalysed at the side of the road and taken to a police station.
