Arson accused trial adjourned
The trial of a 21-year-old woman accused of arson has been adjourned until next month.
Shaniece Rianne Allen of Fairlop Road in Leytonstone is alleged to have burned a bed in the Rosebank Ward, a psychiatric facility, at Mile End Hospital on December 28.
She is also charged with assaulting Kerry Bradshaw on January 5 and Rasaq Bakare on January 7.
Both incidents are alleged to have also occurred in the hospital.
After appearing at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday she was remanded in custody to reappear at the court on February 10.
She is considered a high-risk offender and denied bail for her own welfare.
