Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by three men in Lea Bridge Road, near The Drum pub in Leyton, at just after midnight on December 23.

The 22 year-old victim was beaten-up and robbed of cash.

On arrival, police pursued one suspect, a 19-year-old man and arrested him on suspicion of robbery.

He has since been bailed until the end of January pending further enquiries.
