An Ongar man has been charged with a series of driving offences, including hitting a pedestrian.
Byron Fry, 24, will appear in court today after being accused of car theft, driving while disqualified and drink driving.
Fry of Cripsey Avenue is alleged to have stolen a Landrover in December 2013 and crashed into a Skoda Superb causing damage to both vehicles.
He is also accused of hitting a person with the car, although the victim was not injured.
Mr Fry will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.
