A mental health charity is calling for runners to take part in the British 10k London Run.

The East London Out Project (ELOP), based in Grove Road, Walthamstow, has six spaces for anyone who feels they can run the 10k race on July 13 in three hours or less and raise a minimum of £500.

ELOP is a charity aiming to promote mental health and wellbeing amongst lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual communities.

It provides information, advice and counselling to north and east London residents.

The British 10k London Run includes famous London landmarks along the route including the London Eye and St Paul’s Cathedral.
