A date has been set for the trial of an 18-year-old charged with possessing a sawn-off shotgun.

Omari Crawford, of William Morris Close in Walthamstow, was allegedly found in possession of the weapon in Hackney on January 3.

A plea and case management hearing will take place at Snaresbrook Crown Court on April 14 and the trial is due to begin in the week of June 30.

He denies the offence.
