Residents are being asked for their views on the future of a country park through a series of meetings and walks.

A public consultation on the development of Hainault Forest Country Park in Chigwell will begin with a guided walk through the park on February 9 at 10.30am.

Two public meetings will also take place.

The first at Ilford Town Hall on February 11 at 7.45pm and the other at Fullwell Cross Library on February 13 at 6.30pm.

These will include a presentation explaining the current facilities in the park and a discussion about what residents would like to see in the future.

A meeting on-site on February 27 at 10.30am will involve representatives from Natural England, Barkingside 21 and the Woodland Trust.

Residents can also complete a survey about future plans, which asks if an upgraded farm, mini golf, upgraded cycling routes and a potential craft shop would be of interest.
