The victim is believed to be a pupil at Leytonstone School
Police are investigating an attack a 14-year-old boy as he walked home from school.
The victim suffered bruising to his face during the incident near Leytonstone School in Colworth Road last Tuesday at just after 3.30pm.
The boy is understood to be a student at the school.
Leytonstone School has declined to comment as investigations are ongoing.
There have been no arrests.
