London Underground bosses have warned that a two-day strike next week could cause disruption for as long as four days.
Members of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) and the Transport Salaried Staffs Association (TSSA) will go on strike from 9.00pm on Tuesday over plans to close ticket offices, leading to a loss of 950 jobs.
The strike will last 48 hours and disruption is expected to continue into Friday morning, however Transport for London (TfL) are planning extra bus and river services.
RMT and TSSA members make up over 50 per cent of London Underground staff.
