A nursery held a day of activities to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Pre-school children at Tiny Tots Nursery in Higham Station Avenue, Chingford have been using chop sticks, designing dragons, and learning caligraphy as part of today's annual event.
The children aged three to five years old spent the morning making cards to represent the Year of the Horse which will be given to parents this afternoon.
A special buffet was laid out for the children to taste oriental food and practice using chop-sticks.
Nursery manager Charlotte Mannion, 31, said it is important to celebrate all cultures.
"Today has been absolutely fantastic, really good fun and it has been a very busy day for the kids.
"It is incredibly important for us at the nursery to celebrate all religions, festivals and cultures."
