Reality TV star Joey Essex will be meeting bereaved children to try to raise cash for a good cause.

The Only Way is Essex favourite, who lost his own mum at just ten-years-old, is showing support for young people as he struts his stuff in a onesie.

This year on Mother’s Day Mr Essex, who lives in Loughton, will take part in a 3km walk for Child Bereavement UK in Brentwood.

Refreshments, games, market stalls and face painting will also be available.

Proceeds from the Onesie Walk will go to Child Bereavement UK, a charity which supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.

Mr Essex said: "It was really hard when my Mum died, so I'm very happy to help Child Bereavement UK, so they can support other kids, and parents like my Dad, who are going through what we went through."

The walk will take place on King George’s Playing Fields in Brentwood on March 30 from 9.45am.
