Thames Water engineers are at the burst main in Woodford High Road
Emergency works to repair a burst water main are causing traffic delays this afternoon.
The burst main, in High Road, near Churchfields in Woodford Green, is being repaired this afternoon by engineers from Thames Water.
Temporary traffic lights have been installed at the site and tailbacks are expected.
Thames Water has apologised for any inconvenience after some homes in the South Woodford area reported being without water since Friday morning.
It said it was working to fix the burst main as soon as possible.
