A volunteer group made a film and a scrapbook documenting the experience of fellow volunteers during the 2012 Olympics.

Members of Leytonstone Youth Matters premiered the film last week and donated the scrapbook to Leytonstone library for permanent display.

Group member Amardeep Riyat said the scrapbook, entitled Celebration of Olympics and Spirit, will remain in the library as a “community resource which we can look back on to remember the Olympics”.

Leytonstone Youth Matters is a volunteer-led organisation funded by the Leytonstone ward forum aimed at getting young people involved in community projects.
