A 12-year-old girl has become the latest victim of mugging in Epping Forest.
At around 9.15am on Saturday morning the young girl was walking along Great Eastern Path in Loughton when she was threatened by an older boy.
He took money from her purse before heading off towards Algers Road.
The girl was left uninjured but very frightened.
The boy is described by police as being an older teenager.
On Twitter, residents of Loughton have offered more information, suggesting that the teenager was wearing a grey Superdry hoody with black trainers and black gloves.
The robbery is the fourth in two weeks to take place in the district.
