Walkers have been advised to take care after heavy rainfall caused flooding.
Connaught Water in Rangers Road, Buckhurst Hill, has experienced a rise in water levels due to heavy rainfall in recent days.
Forest keepers are now monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
The City of London Corporation’s Superintendent for Epping Forest, Paul Thompson, said: "There is no threat to public safety and the dam is not overtopping but at the moment we are asking those who come to Epping Forest to take extra care around flooded areas."
