Community centre's funding appeal
A community centre is appealing for supporters to join a newly launched funding drive.
The Mill has launched a “friend scheme” to attract new supporters to the facility and ensure its future.
If 100 friends join by the end of March Waltham Forest Council has promised to match all money raised.
Friends who join the scheme will receive regular updates and invitations to events.
The Coppermill Lane centre is open six days a week and hosts art exhibitions, resident’s groups and workshops and provides room hire and children’s entertainment.
