Migrant action group to host fundraising party
A migrants’ action group is hosting a fundraising party this weekend.
The Love Migrants Party is being hosted by the Walthamstow Migrants’ Action Group on Sunday and will feature live music, including Congolese drumming, traditional dances from the Philippines and international food.
Money will be used to fund the group's aims of supporting and empowering migrants and to help them integrate into wider communities.
The event runs from 2pm until 7pm at Foster Hall on Wellesley Road in Walthamstow.
