Police have released CCTV images of men they wish to speak to in connection with the theft and fraudulent use of an elderly man’s bank card.

The 90-year-old’s bank card was stolen on or prior to November 5 last yea, but police do not know where the theft took place. 

The card has been used to make a series of transactions and purchases from stores and cash machines in Chingford, Ilford and Palmers Green.

An unknown amount of money was withdrawn from ATM machines in Old Church Road and Mount Road on November 6 and the thieves attempted to make a third withdrawal in Chingford the same day, but it was declined.

On the same day, the suspects tried to make a purchase at a supermarket and post office in Ilford but it was declined.

Police wish to speak to the men pictured as it is possible they witnessed the theft or fraudulent transactions, or have information that could assist the investigation.
