Dog owners are being encouraged to take part in a fundraising event for a hospice.
St Clare Hospice in Hastingwood Road, Hastingwood, has organised Winter Walkies, a five kilometre circular dog walk from GreenAcres Woodland Burials in Kiln road, North Weald, on February 16.
There will be a prize for the owner who most resembles their dog and the wackiest wellies worn.
Free refreshments will be on offer as well as treats for dogs taking part.
Registration for the event costs £10 for adults and £5 for children.
