A pensioner has been accused of a historic sex offence against a child.

Keith Turvey, of Chigwell Rise in Chigwell, is facing one charge of indecent assault against a boy aged under 16.

The alleged offence is said to have taken place between 1998 and 2001.

Mr Turvey, 75, has not yet entered a plea and has been granted bail until March 5.
