Trade unions and London Underground bosses are set to resume talks today aimed at averting a further strike by Tube workers.
Millions faced disruption last week as members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport workers (RMT) union and the Transport Salaried Staffs' Association (TSSA) staged a 48-hour walk-out over plans to close ticket offices.
A second 48-hour strike is scheduled to begin tomorrow unless a deal can be struck.
Unions say plans to modernise the network, which also include the loss of 950 jobs, could affect staff and passenger safety - a claim dismissed by London Underground.
During last week's strike, there was a limited service between Epping, Woodford via Hainault and Leytonstone, with trains later operating to Holborn.
