Thug who attacked women in Loughton gets community order

A man who attacked two women has been ordered to attend a course on relationships.

Shaun Thompson, 25, of Foldcroft, Harlow, admitted twice attacking Yasmin Lambell and also assaulting Jennifer Lambell in Loughton.

He also admitted damaging Yasmin Lambell's flat.

Thompson was handed a two-year community order, which requires him to attend a Building Better Relationships programme and seek help for drinking.

He was also ordered to pay costs £620 and a victim surcharge of £60 at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

So free to carry on as usual. And I don't really think he needs help with drinking-he's managed quite well so far. Pathetic court decision and a slap in the face for victims. Another proud magistrate and his protégé.

So instead of locking these thugs up they get sent on courses at the Tax Payers expense. How does he get a job whilst he attends these cushy classes or does the Taxpayer pay his dole and rent as well. No need to pay for education just commit few offences and get education free. Crooks win again, tax payer, hard workers and victims lose.
