CCTV has been released of a man police want to speak to in relation to a petrol theft.

A silver Lexus fitted with false number plates was filled up with £100 of fuel and then driven away without the driver paying.

The incident occurred at the Shell Service Station in High Road, Buckhurst Hill, on February 3 at around 11.30am.

Police also believe the driver may have stolen fuel from Tesco petrol station in Sewardstone Road, Waltham Abbey, on the same day at around 9am.

The number plates on the car were stolen from a car in Waltham Abbey between February 2 and 3.
