A post-mortem on a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed to death has proved inconclusive.

Further tests will be carried out to ascertain the cause of Ayodele Osifuwa’s death on December 9.

He was found with a stab wound to his leg on a grass verge at the roundabout linking Limes Avenue and Westmede in Chigwell shortly before 9pm.

The teenager, from Chesterton Road, Plaistow, died on February 7at the Royal London Hospital.
Marcus Audain is currently in custody after being charged with one count of causing Grievous Bodily Harm with intent in relation to the death.

The 20-year-old unemployed man who has not been named, of no fixed address, is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, March 17.

A further two people, a 20-year-old man from Ilford and a 17-year-old boy from Walthamstow, are currently on police bail until March 4 pending further enquiries.

Both were arrested on suspicion of assault on December 13.
