An opera and drama society are set to stage an “off the wall” adaptation of television comedy Acorn Antiques.
The show, renowned for its poor acting and missed cues, has been made into a musical and will be put on by the Chigwell Row Operatic and Dramatic Society (CROADS) at Victory Hall, in Hainault Road, Chigwell.
Jenny Witchell, co-musical producer, said: “We are branching out to try something a bit different for CROADS, something a little adventurous, tongue in cheek and slightly off the wall.
“With members of all ages we are going to do this very funny comic piece great justice.”
Performances will take place on April 9 to April 12, with tickets priced at £9.
