A severe weather warning has led to the country's largest regular Saturday market being called off.
There will be no stalls at North Weald Airfield tomorrow after the Met Office issued a warning for residents to be prepared for strong winds, with gusts of 50 mph as well as heavy rain forcast for tomorrow.
Airfield Manager Darren Goodey said: “The safety of our residents, customers and stall holders is paramount.”
“We apologise for any inconvenience. It is anticipated that the market should go ahead as usual next week.”
